A few loose ends.

When can I download Craft Counter?

We’re planning to release the iPhone app on October 1, 2026. We’ll add the App Store link here once it’s available. The date may change as we finish testing.

Is $39.99 a subscription?

No. The planned price is a single $39.99 purchase through the App Store, with basic cloud backup included. You’ll enable backup with Sign in with Apple; there’s no separate cloud subscription in the planned first version.

Will it work without an internet connection?

The first version is designed to keep your projects and saved history on your iPhone, so counting and restoring a saved position can work offline. Counting won’t require sign-in. Cloud copies will update while the app is active and connected, after you enable backup.

What if I lose or replace my iPhone?

Once you’ve enabled backup, Craft Counter will keep a secure cloud backup of your progress. On your new phone, sign in with the same Apple account and restore a saved copy. The app will show the time of your last completed backup, so you can see what’s protected. Changes that haven’t uploaded yet won’t be in that copy.

Will my projects sync between devices?

The first version will back up your projects and let you restore a copy on another iPhone. It won’t merge changes between two phones automatically. You can also export and import a project file yourself.

Is cloud backup unlimited?

Basic backup is planned for project progress and recent recovery copies, without photos or pattern PDFs. The app will show storage use and tell you if a copy can’t update. We’ll publish the full limits and service terms before launch. Cloud backup isn’t a promise of permanent availability; manual export remains available.
